Pratham on Chota Champion - Zee Kannada

Program: Chota Champion
Channel: Zee Kannada

Seldom did I think I would be on a TV program but thanks to my wife to take the initiative of forcing me to take my son for auditions & my 2 year old son Pratham who cleared auditions over 1000s of kids, after long wait in scorching Sun & managed to impress the jury so much that they selected him for a special celebrity episode – first of its kind for the program itself.

Auditions : Day 1 (what is visible is a small fraction of people - 5%, Shweta was standing in a long queue for couple of hours just to register name, while I was strolling with Pratham in free space)

Auditions : Day 2 (after waiting for 4+ hours in the Sun)

Before Auditions : Long wait, scorching Sun, yet high on spirits!

After Auditions : We knew he has impressed the judges: So....awaiting for the call from them

& one day they called and we were selected for a special celebrity episode.

There we were on the sets accompanied by Dad,Mom & Ullas:

Commentary about Pratham Joshi:

Pratham chose gun in one of the games (reminds me Quantum of Solace - James Bond movie) :-)

The program widely watched by audience all over the world & known for the adorable acts of kids while the parents are busy directing the kids added special celebrity episode with a theme!

 In make-up room

We chose a Western attire with other participants preempting our early (Indian) choices!

Staring in a show hosted by Srujan Lokesh who shares the lineage of the person who started Kannada film industry in yesteryears & sharing screen space with renowned Mrs. Girija Lokesh , Actress Rupashree &  Actor Dililp Raj was something to cherish.
Dad & Mummy with Girija Lokesh with her favorite co-star (who sat through the shooting with high spirits)

Celebrity allocated to our team: Actress Rupashree

The show’s impromptu nature makes it more challenging but then there we were standing behind a door to open, with all the lights & camera waiting for us.
Pratham: Youngest person on the sets
We entered the stage dancing together, enjoyed the conversation with the Host, who has a peculiar sarcastic sense of humor , loads of action and games- we all had fun which lasted for around 6 hours, and then eagerly waited for the episode to air.
Eventually on May 18 2014 episode was aired. During the episode itself we got calls from people complimenting us for a cool performance by Pratham. It was an out-n-out fun filled episode. A lot was edited to compress 6 hours shoot to 45 minutes with stars sharing screen space; but I am glad Pratham being the youngest on the show managed to steal the show with his performance.
With Girija Lokesh during 6+ hours shoot:

It was all a beautiful experience to watch & to be watched by others on TV and of course an experience to cherish for the entire family.
